Jade Askeroth is an attorney dedicated to helping those in need of rescue. Before entering law, Jade spent nearly a decade in the medical field serving as a lifeguard, advanced EMT, ski patroller, wildland firefighter, and surgical assistant, among other roles. This diverse background in emergency response and healthcare shaped his compassionate approach to client advocacy.
Jade earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology-Zoology from Southern Utah University with a minor in Spanish. After his medical career, he joined his brother Tom in 2013 to provide legal assistance for personal injury and workers’ compensation claims. While working full-time, Jade pursued his law degree at Mitchell Hamline School of Law through night classes, completing his degree one year early through determination and hard work.
In 2019, Jade joined Askeroth Law Group, which later merged with Claggett & Sykes. In 2025, Jade founded Lava Law Firm to help those injured in New Mexico. As an attorney, Jade maintains his reputation as a “rescuer,” fighting tenaciously for clients who lack the resources to navigate the legal system alone.
When his son was born with a permanent physical disability in 2021, Jade’s advocacy deepened. This personal experience reinforced his commitment to ensuring equal opportunities for all, regardless of physical or mental abilities.
Outside the office, Jade enjoys mountain adventures, fly fishing, and baseball with his wife and two sons. He’s also known for his weekend home improvement projects.
