Chad A. Bowers is the founder and owner of The Law Office of Chad Bowers in Las Vegas, Nevada. Since 2000, he has represented businesses and individuals in complex legal matters, with a primary focus on serious personal injury and wrongful death cases arising from negligence. A graduate of the University of Washington, Mr. Bowers earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics after enrolling in the university’s Honors Program on a full academic scholarship. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, where he was a member of Law Review and was published in the Utah Law Journal. Following law school, he opened his Las Vegas law practice, which has now been in continuous operation for more than two decades.
Mr. Bowers is admitted to practice before state and federal district and appellate courts at every level, including the United States Supreme Court. He has successfully argued cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and has represented hundreds of plaintiffs nationwide in both federal and state courts. Among his most notable achievements is serving as co-counsel in Nevada’s then-largest product defect jury verdict, exceeding $32 million, as well as securing a nearly $10 million judgment in a clergy sexual abuse case and multiple multimillion-dollar recoveries for motor vehicle accident victims.
He is licensed to practice law in Nevada, Idaho, North Carolina, Washington, New York, and Utah, although his licenses in North Carolina and Utah are inactive. Mr. Bowers maintains a national network of attorneys, physicians, and expert witnesses. He has been Board Certified as a Personal Injury Specialist by the Nevada State Bar since 2017, holds an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and has been recognized by Super Lawyers since 2009. In addition to his litigation work, he has published articles, delivered lectures on legal topics throughout the region, and served as counsel in cases resulting in published judicial opinions.
